Dorset Theatre Festival New Dynamic Pricing!
Our new ticket pricing for 2024 operates on a dynamic pricing model, meaning prices may vary based on factors such as demand, time until the show, and seat availability. As the show date approaches, ticket prices are subject to increase. We encourage guests to book early to secure the best available pricing. Base ticket pricing starts at $55.

Fees & Taxes:
Playhouse preservation, processing fees, and 6% VT sales tax will be added to all ticket purchases at checkout.

Reserved Seating:
All Dorset Theatre Festival Main Stage Productions have reserved seating. Your seating assignment is subject to availability and determined when placing your ticket order.

• You may add additional names to your ticket order to allow guests to check in on their own.

• All ticket purchases are final sale

Printed and E-Tickets

• Either printed or e-tickets will work for entrance into the theatre. Tickets must match the correct date and time of the show

• Will call opens an hour before the start of the show you are attending. Will call is located at the box office

• Printed tickets will not be available for pick up prior to will call opening an hour before the show

Health & Safety Protocols:

Refund Policy:
All tickets purchased for Dorset Theatre Festival productions are final sale. If you have questions about this policy, please contact our box office.

Exchange Policy:
For single tickets/subscriptions: tickets may be exchanged for a different performance within the run of the production by contacting the Box Office. Exchange fees may apply. 2024 Season Members may exchange tickets between performances or productions with no fees if processed at least 48 hours prior to the original performance. Note there is an exchange fee of $5.00 per ticket for single ticket purchases and Subscriptions.

Exchange Fees:
Single Tickets/Subscriptions: $5.00 exchange fee per ticket.
Memberships: Free exchanges between performances or productions if processed at least 48 hours prior to the original performance.

Late Arrivals:
Guests arriving late will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager. To limit audience distraction, late arrivals may be required to wait in the lobby until an appropriate pause in the performance before they are permitted into the theatre. Late arrivals are not guaranteed their ticketed seat assignments. Arriving at least 15 minutes early to a performance is highly recommended.

General Admission:
For select Dorset Theatre Festival Special Events, seating is general admission and seat selection is on a first-come first-served basis.  All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

Unclaimed Comp Tickets/Seats:
Any unclaimed complimentary tickets are subject to release in the event of a sold-out performance. Purchased Ticket holders are guaranteed admission until five minutes prior to curtain time, at which time any unclaimed seats may be released and resold in the event of a sold-out performance.

Waitlist Policy:
If a performance is sold out, guests may request to be placed on the waitlist by contacting the box office and providing the following information:

First & Last Name
Email
Phone Number(s)
Performance Requested (Date and Time)
Number of Tickets Requested

If tickets become available, patrons on the waitlist will be notified via phone on a first-come, first-served basis.

Stand-By Policy:
If a performance is sold out, guests may request to be placed on the standby list at the door up to 30 minutes prior to curtain. If seats are available, standby guests will be notified approximately 5 minutes prior to curtain and will be allowed to request tickets on a first-come, first-served basis, provided that all guests in their party are present.
