Dorset Theatre Festival Gives Back
WE ARE DEDICATED TO NURTURING BOTH ARTISTS AND AUDIENCES THROUGH PRODUCTIONS THAT REFLECT THE REGION IT SERVES: DIVERSE, BRILLIANT, RAW, AND ALIVE.
Since 2010, our Giving Back partners have helped expand the reach of our productions and educational initiatives by providing reduced-cost tickets to select groups. These efforts reach a new generation of theatre audiences by giving all members of our community the chance to see world-class theatre.
Our Giving Back Program provides Pay-What-You-Like tickets to those
who serve our community each day* (AND THEIR FAMILIES!), including:
EMS Workers
Firefighters
Police
Veteran and active-duty military
Farmers
Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteers
Student graduates of the Refuse to Use Program
Habitat For Humanity Families and Volunteers
People with Disabilites and their Aides
*Four tickets per show are available per househould

“When my son was a volunteer firefighter and EMT while he was in college locally, I was so grateful for the chance to go to Dorset with him; I would not have been able to afford it while paying for college tuition if you had not had that program. He and I started going to children’s theater when he was 4 years old, and he did theater tech from 5th grade through college, so this is something that has been a special bond for us for 22 years.”
