The Festival’s summer home at the Dorset Playhouse is an intimate 298-seat theatre built from two pre-revolutionary barns. Since 1929, the Playhouse building has been owned and operated by Dorset’s non-professional community theatre group, The Dorset Players, Inc. The Players began hosting the professional Dorset Theatre Festival, (previously known as the Dorset Summer Theatre Festival) since 1976. Which package is right for me? •
Do you want the biggest savings? Take a look at our Subscriptions! Subscriptions offer the greatest savings, with tickets to your option of 3 or 4 of our seasons shows, but with less flexibility. You select your seats when you purchase your Subscription, and standard exchange fees still apply if you need to make changes later.
Do you want the most flexibility? Take a look at our Memberships! Memberships provide some savings while giving you greater flexibility with FLEX tickets. You have your pick of a 4 or 8 ticket membership to use however you want! FLEX tickets are exempt from exchange fees, and you can choose your seats and performance dates at any time.

All performances will take place indoors at the Dorset Playhouse (104 Cheney Rd, Dorset, VT 05251).
All sales are final and non-refundable.
Seating assignments for all Subscriptions and Memberships are subject to availability and must be reserved at least 48 hours before a performance.
Prices do not include Vermont sales tax.
